    • Exact date (or approximate timeframe)

    • Article URLs from news outlets
    • Document scans or screenshots
    • Court documents or official publications

  • Translation if the statement is in a non-Ukrainian language

Submission Guidelines#

What Makes Strong Evidence:

  • Video or audio recordings of the actual statement
  • Official documents or publications
  • Multiple independent sources reporting the same incident
  • Direct quotes rather than paraphrased summaries
  • Clear context showing intent

Before You Submit:

  • Verify the source is credible and authentic
  • Check if we’ve already documented this incident
  • Archive web pages and social media posts (use archive.org or similar)
  • Note the exact timestamp for video/audio evidence

What Happens Next#

  1. Acknowledgment - We’ll confirm receipt of your submission within 48 hours

  3. Follow-up - We may contact you for clarification or additional information
  4. Publication - If verified, the entry is added to our database
  5. Notification - We’ll notify you when the entry is published (if you provided contact info)

Anonymous Submissions#

You may submit information anonymously. However, please note:

  • We may not be able to follow up for clarification
  • Anonymous submissions require stronger corroboration
  • We still need verifiable evidence (links, documents, recordings)

We respect source confidentiality and will never disclose your identity without explicit permission.

Our Correction Process#

  • Review: We review all correction requests within 7 business days
  • Investigation: We verify the claimed error against our sources
  • Decision: We determine if a correction is warranted
  • Action: Verified errors are corrected immediately
  • Transparency: Significant corrections include a public update note
  • Response: We notify the reporter of our decision
