Researchers#

Help us identify, verify, and document new cases. You’ll be searching public records, news archives, court documents, and social media for evidence of violations. No special background required — attention to detail and commitment to accuracy matter most.

Journalists & Investigators#

If you have experience in investigative journalism or open-source intelligence (OSINT), you can help us build stronger, better-sourced profiles and uncover cases that haven’t been documented yet.

Ukrainian and international lawyers help us assess the legal significance of documented actions, verify our interpretation of Ukrainian law, and strengthen the analytical layer of our database.

Translators#

Our database covers statements made in Ukrainian, Russian, and other languages. Translators help us ensure accuracy across all language versions of the site and assist in verifying non-Ukrainian source material.

Regional Correspondents#

If you’re based in Ukraine or follow regional politics closely, you can help us monitor local officials and institutions that may not receive national media coverage.

What to Expect#

  • Fully remote, flexible hours — contribute as much or as little as you can
  • Anonymous participation is possible for those with security concerns
  • All volunteers follow our verification standards and editorial guidelines
  • No compensation — this is volunteer work in service of Ukraine’s accountability record

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Volunteer: [Your Role]” and tell us:

  • Which role interests you
  • Relevant background or experience
  • How much time you can realistically contribute
  • Whether you need to remain anonymous

We review all applications and respond within 7 business days.
