&lt;p&gt;On 21 July 2025 the High Qualification Commission of Judges adopted decision No. 138/zp-25, recognizing twelve civic associations as meeting the requirements for participation in the assembly forming the PIC&amp;rsquo;s fourth composition and refusing five others.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Ukrainian Bar Association was again among those admitted, nominating &lt;a href="https://crimeawatch.org/en/profiles/individuals/orest-bumba/"&gt;Orest Bumba&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="https://crimeawatch.org/en/profiles/individuals/svitlana-ilnytska/"&gt;Svitlana Ilnytska&lt;/a&gt;. Both were elected; the fourth composition took office on 4 August 2025.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2 id="the-tenth-year-of-uninterrupted-participation"&gt;The Tenth Year of Uninterrupted Participation&lt;a class="anchor" href="#the-tenth-year-of-uninterrupted-participation"&gt;#&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;On 27 July 2023 the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine adopted decision No. 40/zp-23, determining which civic associations met the statutory requirements for participation in the assembly of representatives that forms the &lt;a href="https://crimeawatch.org/en/profiles/entities/public-integrity-council/"&gt;Public Integrity Council&lt;/a&gt;. Sixteen organizations were recognized as meeting the requirements and five were refused.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Ukrainian Bar Association, registration code 26334715, was among those admitted. &lt;p&gt;The PIC adopted its Indicators of Integrity on 11 January 2019 and adopted a revised version on 16 December 2020. The revised text was approved unanimously.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At the time of adoption, three members delegated by the Ukrainian Bar Association served on the PIC&amp;rsquo;s second composition: &lt;a href="https://crimeawatch.org/en/profiles/individuals/dmytro-ostapenko/"&gt;Dmytro Ostapenko&lt;/a&gt;, Andrii Savchuk and Oleh Yakymiak.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2 id="the-provision-at-issue"&gt;The Provision at Issue&lt;a class="anchor" href="#the-provision-at-issue"&gt;#&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Paragraph 1.5 identifies as a marker of support for aggression conduct by a judge or candidate who &amp;ldquo;without urgent need visited the Russian Federation after the start of the armed aggression, temporarily occupied territories.&amp;rdquo; The two are listed in a single enumeration, with no distinction drawn between the territory of a foreign aggressor state and Ukrainian territory under temporary occupation.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
